Define Yourself
“Live Your Life By
Design, Not By Default.” ~ Shiv Khera
Everybody
in your society knows you very well. You don’t have to go around and introduce.
You don’t have to say who you are and where you come from. It is needless.
People know your name and your origin before you even knew who your parents
were.
But
they don’t know who you really are. ‘Define Yourself’ does not mean to
introduce your name. It is more than that. You have to prove the world your worth.
You
must not just exist in the world; you have to live. And that demands your
definition. What values do you possess? What is the purpose of your life? What
can you contribute to the world? What makes you unique from others? What are
your strengths?
Your
values
and attitudes
define YOU, not your NAME.
Lion
isn’t an animal by its name. The thick fur, long claws and its superiority over
other animals suits the name ‘LION.’ Call your cat a lion, you are insane. Cat doesn’t
deserve to be called lion.
So,
do you do justice to your name? Everyone has a name, no wonder you too have a name.
Take out the lion from you and prove your worth of living to the world. Then, define
yourself.
If
you are a cat, even your family may not notice your presence at home. If you
are a lion, the society and country in large feel your presence, just by
hearing your name.
